Cadillac Experience
A General Motors sponsored studio at the University of Cincinnati. A collaborative project between myself, a fashion designer, and two transportation designers. We were challenged by GM to design a car that would exist in the world of 2035.
Persona: Ricardo
Our approach was to use Joseph Campbell’s Hero’s Journey narrative structure as both a research methodology and presentation framework to visualize the future of technology, economy, society, and mobility. We focused our research on Austin, Texas, and developed our persona, Ricardo.

This video was created for a General Motors sponsored collaborative class in which we were tasked with designing a vehicle for a specific city and persona using an existing GM platform, set in the year 2035. Through extensive research and ongoing collaboration with professors, students, and GM stakeholders, we identified Austin, Texas, as a strong fit. The design was developed holistically across exterior, interior, and interaction design, ensuring a cohesive narrative that clearly expressed both the vehicle concept and the Cadillac brand.
