I worked with Design for America, the Rockaway Waterfront Alliance, Columbia University students, and fellow Gensler interns.

Far Rockaway is one of the beautiful beaches hit by Hurricane Sandy, and Gensler’s interns were asked to design the environment to spark new life in the neighborhood. The location has drawn more media attention since, and groups like Pentagram, the Rockaway Waterfront Alliance, NYC Parks, and FEMA have all played a part in bringing it back so residents can live well there.
